Hi, I’m Nick Pires — a graphic designer based in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked across a range of design disciplines, with a strong focus on packaging, branding, and merchandise. While much of my early work involved apparel and logo design for bands and small businesses, my career has largely centered around packaging design for various industries — though I’m always open to new creative challenges.

Currently, I’m a designer in the toys & games industry, working on custom editions of classic games like Monopoly, Guess Who?, and Top Trumps for Winning Moves UK. It’s been a fun mix of creativity and attention to detail, from custom game designs to packaging and visual identities. I’ve had the chance to work on a wide range of projects, blending a bit of nostalgia with fresh ideas along the way.
I discovered graphic design while drumming in a local band. We needed merch and promotional materials, so I took it upon myself to learn the craft—and I haven’t looked back since. That early DIY spirit shaped my approach and passion for design. Along the way, I studied at the New England Institute of Technology, earning an Associate of Science degree in Graphics, Multimedia, and Web Design.
I’m always looking for ways to grow and improve as a designer. I embrace challenges and see them as opportunities to learn, adapt, and push my skills further. I’m excited about the possibility of working together and bringing new ideas to life!
