My name is Nick Pires. I am a graphic designer based out of Rhode Island/Massachusetts. I have been designing for about 10+ years now. I have done mostly apparel and logo work for bands and various companies. Currently, I work in the gaming industry, designing custom editions of Monopoly, Guess Who, Top Trumps card game and the various ranges of Top Trumps/Winning Moves UK products. I am a graduate of New England Institute of Technology with an Associate's in Science Degree in Graphics, Multimedia, and Web Design.
I began designing out of necessity while drumming in a local band. When we began needing merchandise and promotional material, I took on the challenge of learning graphic design. I quickly fell in love with it and very soon realized it was what I wanted to spend my life doing. I began following and learning from other designers that I respected and admired. While in college, I also learned photography and took that on as a hobby. I've recently gotten into toy photography which can be seen here.
I constantly strive to learn and grow in this field and become the best designer I can be. I face challenges head on and do whatever it takes to overcome them and learn from them.
My resume can be found here.
